1. How do I register for NevermissDiscovery?
Simply click on the Register Now button or the Register tab and fill in your details
2. Why can't I play any videos on this website?
There are a number of possible reasons for this, please see below:
- in order to play a file, you need to have Silverlight installed. You can download Silverlight for most systems (including Mac OS X) for free if one is not already installed on your system.
- it is sometimes company policy to restrict media - in this case you will need to request access from your Network System Administration team.
- this website uses ActiveX - it is possible in a minority of cases that you may need to change your PC/network ActiveX settings in order to view files.
3. What is Silverlight?
Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering the next generation of Microsoft .NET–based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.
4. Is Silverlight free?
Yes, Microsoft will make the Silverlight browser plug-in freely available for all supported platforms.
5. Where can I go to install Silverlight?
Go to the Silverlight installation section on the homepage of the site.
6. How do I ensure that the installation of Silverlight will be successful?
7. I still have problems with installation, where do I go for help?
Silverlight is still in beta. However, many people get answers to their questions about installation through the Installation and Setup forum.
8. Which password do I use to log in?
You will have chosen your own password for the NevermissDiscovery site when you registered.
9. What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
Please use the FORGOTTEN PASSWORD link within the LOGIN section of the site
10. How do I change my password?
You can change your password by logging into NevermissDiscovery and clicking on the Change Password section of the My Details tab.
11. How do I change my personal details?
You can change your personal details by logging into NevermissDiscovery and clicking on the Personal Details section of the My Details tab.
12. How do I change my playlist?
To change your playlist, you can amend your interests in the My Interests tab.
13. How do I set up my alerts
You can set up alerts once by Logging in and selecting the "Remind me" button on the preferred show in your playlist. This will be added to your Program reminders list viewable in the Program tab. You can amend your Remind me preferences in the Program tab.
14. How do I subscribe to Monthly newsletters, Competition Alerts, Offers & Promotions and SMS alerts?
You can subscribe to any of the above by logging into NevermissDiscovery and clicking on the Subscriptions section of the My Details tab. Here you can select you subscription options.
15. How do I unsubscribe from NevermissDiscovery?
You can unsubscribe by logging into NevermissDiscovery and clicking on the Subscriptions section of the My Details tab. Here you can unselect your subscription options.
16. I had been accessing videos on the site but then after a period of time when I hadn't used the site, I could no longer access them, why?
If your log in is inactive for 20 minutes or more, you will automatically be logged out of the site. To access again you simply need to log back in.
